    Band 6 MSK (Women's & Men's Health) Physiotherapist.


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Women's and Men's Health team at Southend Hospital.

    We are currently seeking a part time band 6 Physiotherapist to join our small friendly team to work within this outpatient service.


    The successful candidate will be managing their own interesting and varied caseload providing the assessment of patients with diverse presentations including peri-natal, gynaecology, urology and colorectal referrals in an outpatient setting.

    The successful candidate will be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and hold a Degree in physiotherapy.

    The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience working with a pelvic health caseload.

    We deliver a wide range of pelvic health services, including continence assessment and management, pelvic pain management and ante & post-natal MSK assessment and management.

    This post is ideal for those wanting to expand their pelvic health practice in a supportive environment with the support of our highly skilled service lead and the wider MSK Outpatient Team.

    You will be expected to maintain a clinical caseload and provide supervision to junior members of staff and students.

    You will be actively participating in clinical teaching and in-service training sessions, whilst delivering a high standard of patient-centred clinical care.

    The post creates a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join our busy outpatient physiotherapy department, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of womens and mens health presentations.

    They may have been assessed and triaged from our telephone assessment service or through our clinical assessment and triage service (CATS).


    The Outpatient Physiotherapy team have a strong commitment to ongoing CPD in order to develop individuals both clinically and non-clinically to strengthen opportunities for future career development, providing regular accountability / supervision and monthly in-service training.

    oMember of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
    oRegistered with Health Professional Council
    oDegree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
    Previous women's & mens health experience as a junior or senior.
    Working knowledge of broad range of pelvic health conditions.
    Supervision of junior staff or students
