    Link3 Recruitment is seeking a talented and creative Teacher of computing required to start work in one of our Secondary Schools located in the DE3 area of Derby.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic Teacher who is committed to providing the highest quality childcare and education for children in Derby.

    Job Details:This Teaching role is full-time, Mon- Fri, consisting of 37.5 hrs per week. The role is temporary until the end of the academic year, with a start date after the Easter term break.

    We require a skilled and well-qualified Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, and the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

    To be successful in this teaching position, you will:
    • Hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)
    • Have a good understanding of KS3 curriculum.
    • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
    • Have a passion for working with children.
    • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
    • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

    Essential Requirements:

    As a minimum, all applicants must have:
    • A minimum of QTS or Computing experience,
    • A minimum of 3 months experience working as a Teacher or within a Secondary School setting.
    • A positive approach to child development, managing behaviour and be passionate about your subject which is evident in your teaching.
    • Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service. (We can support you with this)
