    Position Summary:

    The Portfolio Manager role sits within the Customer Operations function under the leadership of the COO. The role is operationally important to the business as it develops and scales over the coming years, particularly in relation to its evolving business model (platform based).

    The primary purpose of this position is to prioritise and project manage a portfolio of client projects in order to drive financial and customer health. The Portfolio Manager will leverage proven portfolio and project management methods, tools and systems in order to deliver objectives.

    The Portfolio Manager collaborates closely with client-facing sales and delivery teams to deliver efficiency and high quality projects. The role is responsible for pipeline management, financial management, resource management, project planning, timeline and deadline optimisation, project team supervision, interdisciplinary liaison with accurate reporting of overall project progress.

    The ideal candidate will be a strong manager with excellent interpersonal skills enabling a strong collaboration with key account managers (sales), delivery teams and Diaceutics EXCO team, to ensure each customer relationship is managed to the highest standard.

    The candidate will have experience in cross-functional, matrix team management of staff from different functional disciplines to deliver exemplary quality project outputs on schedule. Experience with programme management/project management software is important. The candidate should also have experience of developing innovative solutions to project challenges.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Leads and manages portfolio and project planning (prioritising, scheduling and resourcing), of inter-connected projects across key accounts and teams and ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget (financial and risk management).
    2. Acts as a trusted business partner with the key account managers (Sales) and division leads (Delivery) to drive commercial awareness and project/portfolio performance for a portfolio of client accounts.
    3. Supports business development processes, including proposal planning, development and approval taking ownership for project scheduling, capacity planning & financial compliance (Gross Margin targets).
    4. Acts as the client point of contact for all subscription and project management priorities including onboarding, lifecycle management, finance, project scope and delivery schedules.
    5. Drives proactive customer service programmes to ensure high levels of customer adoption, loyalty and satisfaction i.e., recognize opportunity to drive customer health & build business including recurring revenue products.
    6. Identifies and mitigates delivery risk across both the portfolio of client projects & the broader portfolio of Diaceutics projects.
    7. Measures, tracks and improves customer and project/portfolio health to ensure that recurring revenue is secured for the organisation.
    8. Maintains a high standard of professional conduct and compliance with all company SOP's, policies, and procedures.
    9. Supports cross functional teams in the development, production and improvement of internal projects as required.

    Knowledge and Specialist Skills:

    1. Education - Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or science field. Formal Project or Portfolio Management accreditation, desirable.
    2. Experience – Minimum 5 years' proven experience of portfolio and project management leveraging industry-standard software, methods and tools.Minimum 2 years' Leadership experience. Demonstrable ability, based on direct previous experiences, of prioritising project managing a portfolio of client projects in order to drive the financial and customer health of each project. Experience in Healthcare, medical device or in vitro diagnostics and or consulting is desired. Computer and software Knowledge and Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled user Excel and PowerPoint.
