Engineering Manager will be leading a team either within current vehicle development or new vehicle innovation, charged with ensuring evolution of current and future vehicle platformsand their functionality to meet the advancements in technology, and legislative requirements to ensure they stay at the forefront of its industry to meet ongoing global demands.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of design engineers to deliver concurrent product upgrades and/or new concept designs
Continuous development of company engineering standards and execution
Design verification for associated engineering change release within agreed timescales
Responsibility for improving BOM accuracy and configuration management
Develop and lead design for manufacture roadmap and execution
Champion VA-VE (Value Analysis - Value Engineering) improvements and build into DNA of team
Support service and aftermarket with timely resolution of concerns and warranty issues
Champion commodity standardisation roadmap and execution
Champion cross functional cost reduction initiatives
What you will need for this role:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree desired.
Track record as an Engineering Manager / Lead Engineer / Leadership position.
Previous OEM, Off-Highway, Automotive or Product Development experience preferred
Previous launch experience within hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, controls systems and/or EV technology.
Experience with regulatory requirements preferred.
Demonstrable experience of managing similar development programmes, including pro-actively managing external supplier resource.
Ideally has also worked in a Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) and is able to demonstrate the ability to 'roll their sleeves up' and personally get things done as part of a small team.

Exposure of leading product launch activities from concept through each of the development phases and on to launch into production.
