- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance according to Nordex manuals and regulations
- Autonomously do simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and fault-finding
- Carry out complex repair-processes in collaboration with the local technical support and lead technician
- Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with sub-contractors
- Carry out repair or exchange of main components in cooperation with the respective specialists (e.g. Gearbox)
- Conduct all preparation work for all maintenance activities
- Perform all work with high quality and
- Perform all work with a high HSE focus by following all HSE regulations in place
- Check PPE daily & weekly
- Vehicle checks to ensure they are in good condition and road worthy
- Responsible for good housekeeping at site to ensure that everyone can work in a safely following the appropriate site rules.
- Report accurately and in due time: Safety observations, ADM data inputs, timekeeping, maintenance, repairs and SAP MI
- Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site
- Other Service relates tasks
- Attained 5 qualifications at GCSE or equivalent and these should include Maths, English and Science.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must reach minimum of 18 years of age by end of first year at the latest in order to work at heights (Global Wind Organisation requirement)
- Excellent literacy, verbal, communication and numeracy skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good organisation skills
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines both in work and studies
- Good level of fitness to be able to work at heights
