Description
Research and development division of a successful medical company who are working on the development of several new, innovative, medical device products. This role involves solving complex challenges in software/firmware (70%) and electronics (30%), often requiring research and implementation of new techniques that challenge conventional thinking. This role will suit electronics engineers with embedded software and hardware skills who like the idea of developing new concepts into real products. It's a well-managed, privately owned company with a friendly environment and a team of talented individuals to collaborate with and learn from. There is lots of variety with a high visibility of company and product direction. Given the role's highly demanding nature, a strong academic background—ideally in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science—from a reputable university is required. Any experience in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning or Image Processing will be particularly useful for current projects but not essential.
