Position: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Ballymena, Northern Ireland

A reputable construction firm based in Ballymena is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With a focus on delivering quality projects, this company values professionalism and safety. This family run company works on residential, commercial and industrial projects across Northern Ireland.

Job Description:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for various aspects of project management and quantity surveying. Key duties include:

• Analysing drawings and documents to determine labour, material, and subcontractor requirements.
• Measuring subcontractors on site and preparing payment requisitions.
• Measuring work on site and preparing interim certificate applications and final accounts.
• Providing support to the Procurement Team.
• Assisting in the tendering process by preparing take-offs and sending out enquiries.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years' experience in quantity surveying or related field.
• Proficiency in ICT, including Microsoft 365.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on-site throughout the construction period.
