Greenwell Gleeson are excited to be working for a large FMCG business based in Birmingham.

This newly created commercial Finance Business Partner role that reports into the Head of commercial Finance is seeking someone who can focus on partnering senior operational stakeholders and the wider business.

This exciting opportunity is offering hybrid working with only 2 days per week on site. Ensure all accounting procedures and control systems comply with both statutory and company requirements.
# Maintain and improve the costing and financial accounting systems in line with group standards and requirements.
# Annually prepare the audit file for the statutory process and be the key contact for the external auditors.
# Production of Variance analysis and commentary.
# Preparation and submission of VAT, Intrastat, and PAYE returns.
# Drive ERP improvements for the benefit of operations and the business.
# Ad hoc projects support to all sectors of the businesses in the group.
# Liaising with key stakeholders to drive performance and improve the bottom line.

Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or CIMA).
~5 years' experience within a finance department.
~ Experience of working for a FMCG or Multi-National Company.
