Following the retirement of our successful and well respected headteacher, our governing body seeks to appoint an ambitious and inspiring head.

The successful candidate will be able to harness the skills and ambition of the young and committed team of our growing school so all children make outstanding progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Cam Woodfield Infant School is a welcoming, caring and inclusive school set in a semi-rural location serving a mixed community.

We are fortunate to share the site with both a Preschool and Junior School enabling us to work together for the benefit of our children.

We are looking for a headteacher who will:

• Be an approachable, enthusiastic and effective leader in all aspects of school management
• Understand what excellent teaching and learning looks like in EYFS and KS1
• Continue to build on the successes of the school
• Maintain & develop the strong links with parents, the local community, and the Preschool and Junior School
• Understand the importance of CPD for themselves and others whilst being mindful of wellbeing.
• Clearly communicate our vision for the school to all stakeholders and our community.
• Prioritise and allocate financial resources appropriately
• Ensure a safe and secure nurturing environment for our school community to enable all our pupils to flourish
