As a Senior Markets Writer, you will be a hands-on producer (writer and editor) of global content in various formats across key pillars of the macroeconomic and capital markets insight on "investable themes" - major market topics that represent substantial opportunity for clients (including fixed income coverage and thematic equity storytelling).

The Editorial team works directly with senior stakeholders - on the investment platform and across the sales teams globally - to develop engaging and differentiated insights.

This content is a vital part of our value proposition to clients and is delivered via innovative global marketing campaigns across our client channels.

The team collaborates closely with all marketing disciplines including media, events, digital, social media, and research to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient marketing initiatives, helping to meet our clients' needs.

The end-goal is to contribute to a best-in-class experience for AllianzGI clients, where content serves as a chief differentiator. This role reports directly to the Editorial team's Macro & Sustainability Lead.

The preferred location for the role is London, but other alternatives include Paris and Frankfurt.

What you will do

Write and create content for macroeconomic/markets insight, thought leadership and brandrelated information
Take the lead on our flagship markets publications, incl. our new house view and other investment outlooks
Develop content strategy for key themes and marketing campaigns
Work with contributors within the firm (and potentially externally) to elicit, interrogate, prioritise, and shape their input
Deliver content in formats that support global/regional channelspecific marketing plans, with an emphasis on new storytelling formats
Contribute to overall content strategy at AllianzGI to maximise the impact and relevance of our insights
Track readership and results of contentrelated initiatives; make suggestions for continuous improvements based on content analytics and industry insight

What you bring

Impeccable written/spoken English
If France or Germany is the desired location, proficiency in written and spoken French or German respectively is essential
A minimum of approximately years relevant job experience
Strong, proven writing and editing skills with extensive experience developing markets and/or asset managementrelated communications
Ability to translate technical investment language into distinctive, easytounderstand and engaging storytelling, and prepare it for delivery through digital mediums
Specific areas of knowledge in key areas of asset management in particular, fixed income are a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to assess and continually improve readership of and engagement with content programme
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills including the ability to take the lead on own projects with mínimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting directly with senior level investment people, regional and digital marketing teams and executive business leaders to deliver highquality content within tight deadlines
Constructively challenge conventional thinking and shape our content into a true differentiator for AllianzGI
