The role exists to ensure the transportation of raw material and finished goods to sites and customers as specified within agreed time scales in a safe and professional manner delivering a quality service first time, every time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Trunking finished goods, raw materials and packaging between sites across the Leeds area using curtain sided HGV vehicles (can be up to 40 Couple/uncouple activities per shift)

b) Transfer of all finished goods to the RDC at Cross Green

c) Removal of out of date stock to required off site facilities

d) Completion of all relevant paperwork

e) Mobile contact depot to depot to update on actual versus planned runs

f) To protect the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others at all times.

g) To take an active role in continuously developing your skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.

h) To ensure that the Company is professionally represented at all times, both inside and outside the business.

i) To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by your line manager.

j) To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.
