Due to expansion, we are seeking a Trainee Production Assembly Operative to perform a combination of duties for the assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards according to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Soldering to IPC Standards with inhouse and external training provided.
Using various tools, equipment, work and build instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble a variety of electronic products.
Learning how to use the machines in the factory for soldering and testing.
Reading worksheets, wiring diagrams or following a sample board to determine assembly duties.
Identifying components such as transistors, resistors, relays, capacitors and integrated circuits.

Qualifications & Experience:

J-STD001 Certification is advantageous
Previous manufacturing experience is desirable
Adaptable and flexible as no 2 days will be the same as duties will vary depending on production demands.
Able to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks.
