    JOB- Project Engineer

    LOCATION- Reading (hybrid/remote working is available)

    TERM- Permanent

    SALARY- £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

    My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Oil & Gas, Subsea and Renewable Energy industries. They are looking for a Project Engineer and a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Reading on a permanent basis (hybrid/remote working is available).

    The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

    • 3 or more years of Project Engineering experience
    • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
    • PRINCE2 or a similar Project qualifications would be ideal
    • Knowledge of or experience working with thermal processes
    • An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
    • Experienced in/knowledge of Oil&Gas/Energy/Process industries would be ideal but not required
    • Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
    • Be able to read engineering drawings
    • Strong client-facing experience
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
    • Be flexible to travel as required

    Responsibilities include:

    • Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
    • Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
    • Organising the supply chain
    • Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
    • Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
    • Working with design, purchasing and production departments
    • Presenting project plans and reports to management
    • Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
    • Maintaining technical documentation as required
    • Working in a small, multidisciplined team
