If you are a Resourcing Specialist, with a super knowledge and understanding of different workforce types, we want to hear from you


As RBP, using your intricate knowledge and experience, you will take full ownership for internal resourcing activities for a particular area of our organisation, contributing to the development of the HR People Strategy.

As part of the Senior LeadershipTeam, you have the chance to positively influence and inspire change.

Tasked with driving and delivering strategic workforce planning, you will work hand in hand with the wider HR team, internal recruitment team and local management to match workforce planninggoals to resourcing channels and approaches, partnership is key.

With the nature of our business, contractors and therefore IR35, are a huge part of what we do and knowledge of this space or desire to learn, is crucial.

Just to keep things even more exciting, you will support the end-to-end resourcing process for short termassignments across Sopra Steria and our Joint Ventures (NHS SBS & SSCL)


What you will be doing:


  • Working within the resourcing function and alongside the inhouse recruitment team to provide an efficient resourcing and internal recruitment service.
  • Working with the business and senior team members to assess demand pipeline and build appropriate talent pool, recommending appropriate sourcing and business strategy
  • Leading the relationship between Sopra Steria and our managed service provider to deliver on interim recruitment requirements (Contractors and Temporary staffing)
  • Network across the HR & Recruitment communities to build a partnership relationship to share consistency in approach, standard methodology, reuse of initiatives, performance measures and opportunities
  • In partnership with HR, developing plans to support resource requirements and career frameworks, promoting internal moves, and progression of our key talent
  • Collaborating closely with hiring managers and senior leaders within the organisation to understand business areas, assist with pipelining and resource planning.
  • Facilitating accurate and regular reporting for contingent workforce to key partners

What you will bring:


  • Significant recruitment and or resourcing/HR experience (ideally within strategic, operational or in house resourcing or recruitment role).
  • Workforce planning
  • Experienced in delivering assignments, large projects and results to time and budget
  • Demonstrable understanding of employment and recruitment legislation knowledge
  • Established communications and stakeholder management, the ability to confidently and positively challenge when required.
  • Ability to work to in an agile fashion and autonomously
  • Resilience and be able to lead on issues with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Commercially aware and able to act as SME within business teams

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working within a complex organisation or shared service function
  • Background within contracting recruitment (understanding of IR35 compliance, a willingness to learn is essential)
  • Working experience within MSP/RPO environment
