Requirements:

• Electrical bias or relevant qualifications
• Completion of an apprenticeship (NVQ, City & Guilds)
• Experience in FMCG industry, particularly with automated machinery

As an Engineering Shift Team Leader, you will work closely with the Department Manager, being the primary contact during shifts and assisting in resolving electrical and mechanical issues that cannot be addressed by engineers.

You will also:

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff through hands-on guidance
• Repair, troubleshoot, and test electrical and mechanical equipment
• Provide support with administrative tasks, documentation, and record-keeping
• Mentor apprentices when needed
• Act as a substitute for the Engineering Manager, gaining valuable experience for career growth
• Participate in equipment breakdown call-outs on a rotational basis
