THE POSITION – ITS Technical Sales ManagerNavtech Radar's ITS segment is looking for a Technical Sales Manager with proven experience in technical sales, and a track record of generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
Supported by a talented team of engineers, you will be promoting and selling market-leading radar sensors and software to the ITS industry.
An interest in and enthusiasm for technology sales and new business development is important. Experience of radar technology is not necessary, as full product specific training will be provided.Our ground-breaking technology is utilised by clients worldwide, across many industry sectors, from Perimeter Security Surveillance and Industrial Automation to Traffic Incident Detection on Smart Highways and as part of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).

Arrange and deliver hands on, in field product demonstrations, and trials to build customer understanding and generate demand, ensuring necessary resource is planned and available to support.
Identify and generate new business leads through networking, industry events, delivering webinars and proactive outreach.Identify, recruit, and nurture a network of proactive channel sales partners, consultants, and system integrators to ensure geographic coverage and successful deployments.
With support from the senior management team, negotiate commercial contracts, managing and mitigating risk.Work effectively as a part of the ITS Segment team and maintain up to date records within the CRM system.
You need to be able to convey a technical product to a wide range of stakeholders, have a high level of commercial acumen, and be open-minded to ideas from all sources.
Demonstrates technical, commercial and business acumenAbility and willingness to travel internationally to generate sales, attend exhibitions and conferences and to demonstrate Navtech solutions (roadside & in tunnels).
provide a high quality service to both internal and external customersWe require a sales professional with technical business-to-business sales experience, ITS industry experience is an advantage but not essential for this role.
A successful candidate will be of graduate calibre, technically minded, and commercially astute. Experience working and building relationships with customers and partners outside the UKA foreign language would be an advantage
Bonus of up to 25% of salary.
You must be in commuting distance of our office in Ardington.
