Senior Flow Assurance Engineer
Our client based in Leatherhead is looking for experienced Senior Flow Assurance Engineers to join their team, working on a number of Pre-FEED and FEED Projects, for an initial 12 month contract term

You will work as part of small project teams developing concept and early project definition in the Oil and Gas sector.

As a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer your main responsibilities will include:

• Act as a flow assurance engineer on a range of upstream projects, and conduct Flow Assurance studies using software packages, e.g., Develop pipeline simulation models, perform simulations of selected cases as defined by self/project and assess simulation results.
• Perform design calculations and prepare technical reports in accordance with company and project quality requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent technical report writing and presentation skills.

Senior Flow Assurance Engineer Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience in single and multiphase pipelines steady state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry standard software, e.g., Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in flow assurance modeling using OLGA transient simulation software.

* by use of simulation software's and providing the best mitigation solutions.

• An ability to work in a collaborative way as part of a multi-discipline project group with minimum supervision.
• Experience in pipeline sizing and thermo-hydraulics Studies, transient analysis covering shut down, blowdown, start-Up, ramp-up/turndown scenarios.
• Experience in pipeline overpressure protection studies including surge pressure analysis.
• Excellent computer skills, as well as excellent oral/written presentation/report writing skills.
• Experience on flow assurance conceptual and front end studies and topsides process engineering activities including process modeling in HYSYS would be an advantage but not essential.
• Location: Leatherhead (Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote)
