Description

We are working with a globally recognised insurer to aid in the search of their next Supplier Relationship Manager.

This role is responsible for developing and leading all supplier relationship management activities with a focus on maximising value fromall third-party arrangements and mitigating operational risk.

London based

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and implementing the supplier management approach within the allocated business area and aligning to Group Procurement policies
Providing expert, authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice
Overseeing and performing supplier relationship management activities in line with Corporation best practice and regulatory requirements
Implement robust governance and oversight of all vendor arrangements, maintaining a framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for end to end management of vendor relationships
Leading strategic and operational supplier reviews primarily with Critical/High-Risk Suppliers

Requirements:

Understanding of Procurement or Contract management processes and best practice
Working within a contract management or Procurement function
Experience of managing technology suppliers and contracts
Significant business partnering experience and track record of influencing senior stakeholders
Management of third parties and internal stakeholders

Benefits:

Salary £60,000£70,000
