    Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Electrical Manager/Supervisor with expertise in marine electrical systems to lead our team in ensuring safe efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems on board vessels .Candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of electrical principles, regulations and standards applicable to marine environments.

    Leadership and Team Management:

    • Provide leadership and direction to the electrical team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
    • Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in marine electrical systems.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the electrical department.

    Maintenance and Repair:

    • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and components onboard marine vessels, including generators, distribution panels, lighting systems, navigation equipment, and communication systems.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
    • Coordinate with other departments to schedule and execute electrical maintenance activities during vessel downtime.

    Inspection and Compliance:

    • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with maritime regulations, classification society rules, and industry standards.
    • Work closely with regulatory authorities and classification societies to ensure all electrical systems meet or exceed required standards.

    Project Management:

    • Manage electrical projects from planning to execution, including budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and coordination with external contractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and safety requirements.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
    • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including status updates, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Extensive experience in marine electrical systems maintenance and supervision.
    • In-depth knowledge of marine electrical systems, including AC and DC power distribution, switchgear, motors, transformers, and control systems.
    • Familiarity with relevant maritime regulations, standards, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register).
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
