The Wells Fargo International Technology team has an new opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of International Technology (CIO) of Wells Fargo Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology, based in the UK.

The Executive Assistant must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and appropriately handling confidential information.

It will be important for the individual to anticipate the needs of the executive and proactively take initiative to independently solve problems.


In this role, you will:


  • Provide a high level of professional support which includes a balance of experienced executive level administrative work, as well, as ongoing adhoc project and business initiatives such as planning meetings, tracking deliverables and pulling routine reports
  • Perform heavy calendaring, complex travel planning, extensive document creation and editing, and preparing expense report submissions
  • Support adhoc and smaller projects for the technology team
  • Support internal/external events, offsites and visitor logistics
  • Support operational and management reporting, metrics and documentation
  • Assist with budget planning and compile statistical data for financial planning
  • Helps with hiring, staffing plans and seating/floor plan as well as facilities management tasks and activities
  • Helps with training and development activities across regions and with multiple teams
  • Financial administration such as invoice and vendor contract management for technology vendors and procurement
  • Act as information source on group and company policies
  • Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgement within defined parameters while developing understanding of the Administrative Support function
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with external customers

Required Qualifications, International:


  • Significant administrative experience ideally supporting C-Suite Executives or Managing Director level
  • Previous office administration experience within a large and complex financial services or similar organization and preferably in a technology group.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Selfstarter, quicklearner and ability to work in a fastpaced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities i.e. calendar management
  • Good attention to details and not afraid to challenge status quo.
  • Tact and good judgement in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management

Job Expectations:


  • Wells Fargo operates a Hybrid working model combining office and home working. The requirement is a minimum of 3 days in the office.
