As party of our growth, Copperstones Ltd is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team.This is a rewarding opportunity for a professional, hardworking and ambitious individual, ideally a newly qualified accountant to become an integral part of our Finance team.
As Assistant Accountant, you will be working very closely with the Financial Controller, on a variety of our customer accounts across the business.
We have a broad spectrum of both new and established clients, and therefore previous experience within the Real Estate / Property industry is essential.
Many of our clients are long established and have high expectations of customer service, thus excellent levels of spoken and written English are required.
- You will have a working practical experience of SAGE Line 50 or other similar accounting software
- You MUST have good practical knowledge of Excel / Word
- You MUST be fluent in spoken and written English with a confident telephone manner.
- You MUST be able to work to tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Financial Accounts on SAGE Line 50
- Customers/Client account reconciliations.
- Bank and Cash reconciliations
- Lettings and Property Rental accounts
- Preparing Quarterly VAT returns
- Dealing with Payments/ suppliers queries
- Credit Control and Payments from customers
- Maintaining client ledgers and files
- Producing monthly client reports for directors
- Document management
Job Type:
Full-time
Salary:
£26,000 - £29,000 per year ( depending on experience)
Required experience:
- At Least 1 year Real Estate or Property accounts Experience
Pay:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
