Bailey Employment Services are looking for an experienced

Health & Safety Advisor, Administrator for their client in Leeds in a

permanent position.

The role will include admin support to assist the Health & Safety Manager, keep the organisation compliant. The role will be primarily office-based, administration duties. However, there will be some site visits required, ad-hoc so a full, clean UK licence is essential.

The business is a multi service provider meaning the role covers diverse responsibilities and settings nationwide and no two days are the same.


Responsibilities

  • To work closely with the health and safety manager, to support and assist with health and safety matters.
  • Investigate Incidents / Accidents and compile reports on near misses and trends.
  • Communicate with external organisations such as insurance claims investigation teams.
  • Look to continually improve the health and safety across the business.
  • Maintain and monitor policies and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
  • Full, clean UK licence.
  • Desire and ability to learn/progress.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills with a cando attitude

Salary, Benefits and Hours

  • 08:30 17:30 Monday to Friday.
  • 21 Days holiday a year plus bank holidays.
  • Generous salary of £30000£35000.
