    Tender Engineer

    Who is the client?

    • Our client employs a highly skilled Subsea team with over 100 years of combined experience in Underwater & Offshore IRM/ Construction Projects.
    They benefit from a solid reputation within the industry for delivering added value in the form of safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

    • Our client offers an integrated model providing a range of in house capabilities including solutions in diving, ROVs, unexploded ordnance, boulder relocation, cable stability rectification, CPS repairs, BoP top side support including vessel and personnel provision.

    Main Duties:

    • Production of high-quality tender submissions, ensuring all processes are adhered to.
    • Liaising with technical teams to ensure the correct technical approach is advised and offered to the client.
    • Liaising / Negotiating with third party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive quotation is received.
    • Writing the proposal documentation, collating information from relevant departments.
    • Pricing the tender including contacting third party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive proposal is achieved.
    • Collating the tender in full, identifying any deliverables required and coordinating the production of these accordingly.
    • Hosting / Attending Internal and External tender meetings where necessary.
    • Addressing tender clarifications and liaising with the team to ensure all the questions can be addressed.
    • Efficient handover from tendering to operations, ensuring all departmental requirements are captured.
    • Liaising with Commercial & Tendering Manager to ensure all risks are captured and mitigated.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Degree qualified / working towards
    • Experience of working with ROV / Diving / Survey tenders preferred.
    • Commercially aware and astute.
    • Good communications skills.
    • Good analytical skills
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proactive, Self-driven and Assertive.
    • Substantial experience using MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
    • Proactive in prioritising own workload and assigned areas of responsibility to others.
    • A team player
