THE COMPANY
Our client is one of the largest independent travel specialist with key values at the core.


THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily processes for comprehensive reconciliation of ticket refunds and charges.
  • Receive and process GDS, MIR files, and PNR bookings data in Travcom, addressing missing information.
  • Utilise relevant Interfaces and QC App for error checking, charge posting, invoicing, and accurate client reporting.
  • Refund and charge lodge cards and credit cards through manual and automated processing.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of receipts and process batch transactions, including Amex/Air Plus handoff files.
  • Manage intercompany invoicing and recharges, handling currency conversions and duplicate invoices using the Duplicator Tool.
  • Perform twicemonthly analysis to ensure reconciliation.

THE PERSON

Key skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience within a Purchase Ledger position or operational complex ticketing.
  • Previous experience with accounting procedures in the travel industry.
  • Previous use of Travcom or other travel finance packages.
  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience is required.
