Maintenance Engineer
Alexander Steele is working exclusively with a multinational food manufacturing business based in West London. Our client is looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for maintaining and optimising food production machinery and processes. You will play a fundamental role in minimising downtime, ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.

Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including mixers, conveyors, ovens, packaging machines, and more.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections, monitor equipment performance, and document maintenance activities accurately.

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

• Proven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
• Familiarity with PLC systems
