- Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline - NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- F-gas and ODS Regs
- Basic electrical safety (18th Edition)

Due to a long term contract win by my client, they are looking to appoint a number of new, permanent technical posts to support there growth; including a Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician.
The Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician will support the Repairs & Maintenance Manager in delivering the gas related maintenance and repairs contracts held at JH Mechanical and Electrical Services Limited.
The role will suit a Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician who has significant, technical experience in undertaking air conditioning & refrigeration maintenance, repairs and installation works in both domestic and commercial premises - particularly within schools, universities, MoD sites, factories, and public sector buildings.
The role requires the ability to lead on jobs, to independently plan and deliver work assigned to the highest quality and within given timeframes, and in accordance with all statutory requirements, company policies and industry good practice.
This role is on the 'front line' for the business and must therefore always represent the company positively and professionally.
The job also entails liaising with clients onsite whilst undertaking work; therefore, excellent communication skills is essential for the role.
