    Description

    The Governors of this Catholic High School and Sixth Form College seek applications from highly motivated and inspirational individuals with the ability to make a difference to our students by delivering inspirational teaching and learning and demonstrating the highest standards of teaching and learning to raise achievement.

    We are looking for an excellent teacher, to join our highly skilled Design & Technology team, as Second in Department. The aim of this role is to assist the Head of Department provide the best possible curriculum provision and ensure resources are focused on delivering an outstanding education for our pupils. In addition to working alongside the Head of Department with quality assurance processes, the post holder will lead on one key aspect of the department development plan each year, take a lead role in the vocational subjects, be relentless in the pursuit of teaching and learning excellence within Design and Technology and deliver on an inclusive and extensive extra-curricular provision, particularly STEM. This role will offer a real opportunity to make a significant impact on outcomes and provide an excellent foundation for leadership progression in the future.
