Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Head of Regulatory Reporting to be based within the London office.

Main responsibilities within the Head of Regulatory Reporting position include:

  • Preparation and substantiation of FCA returns (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
  • Reporting under CRD Pillar 1, Pillar 2 and Pillar
  • Forecasting of regulatory capital and liquidity
  • Process improvement and automation projects
  • Key involvement in scenario and stress testing
  • NFA reporting on quarterly basis
  • Conversion of regulatory financial information into IXBRL for EBA reporting
  • ICARA/ICAAP scenario modelling
  • ICARA/ICAAP document drafting and updating
  • Substantiation of financial information used in calculations and modelling
  • Scoping out changes arising from regulatory developments;
  • Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and resolution of audit queries
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be required

Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Previous experience working in similar role
  • Big four audit firm training desirable
  • FCA and other regulatory reporting experience
  • Statutory accounts reporting experience
  • Financial services experience
  • IFRS knowledge desirable
  • Financial year end and audit experience desirable
  • Proficient systems knowledge
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially excel critical
  • Ability to assess, design and improving internal controls
  • Selfdriven, enthusiastic and a good team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and embrace change
  • Proven ability to solve complex issues and reconcile differences
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail but aware of the big picture
  • Good organisational skills and time keeping
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Ability to take ownership of ad hoc tasks or small projects from start to completion and deliver conclusive results.
