Our client is a leading Accountancy Practice based in Stoke on Trent who provide a variety of accounting services. They are looking for a full-time Accountant to join their team.


Job Description:

The role of Practice Accountant includes the following duties:

  • First point of contact for new and existing customers
  • Preparing limited company accounts
  • Preparing sole trader and partnership accounts
  • Preparation of selfassessment tax returns
  • Bookkeeping and management accounts
  • 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Full or partially ACCA or ACA qualified desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting packages (Excel, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
  • Experience of payroll processing would be desirable but is not essential
  • Friendly, punctual, presentable and polite
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy office
  • Have a positive attitude within a team and individually

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexi time after 6 months probation)


Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum
