    Description

    NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

    The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday (30 hours).

    (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

    To plan, organise and provide evidence based dietetic service to patients, senior medical, nursing and AHP staff within the health board. Using investigative practice to evaluate and develop service provision within community dietetics and mental health. Delivering care in accordance with service Standards,
    National Professional Standards of Practice and the Health and Care Professions Council Standards (HCPC) of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

    To identify need, educate, train and assess student dietitians and other healthcare professionals on complex nutrition and diet issues relating to mental health.
