Payroll Controller

Permanent

Crawley - Hybrid working

Up to £29,000 per annum


We are working with an excellent business based in Crawley who are looking for a Payroll Controller to join them on a Permanent basis.

This role will be sitting within the Finance team, ensuring the smooth running of the payroll for the business. You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager, supervising the administrators and supporting where needed as well as;

  • Keeping the manager updated on the progress within the team
  • Supporting the running of payroll
  • HMRC reporting
  • Assisting the payroll manager with Tax
  • P11D reporting
  • Setting up new starters in the payroll system
  • Dealing with daytoday enquiries for the team


To be considered for this role, you will ideally have previous experience in mentoring other team members, experience working in an in-house payroll team and excellent communication skills.
