    Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading engineering & manufacturing group who specialise in innovative solutions & products to the EV and clean energy sectors. Due to the award of new programs, they have a number of new vacancies to join their expanding team and are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer.

    The Role

    Analyse and define system features and attributes.

    Decompose regulations and standards into technical requirements.

    Conduct appropriate analysis for defining system behaviour and deriving functional requirements.

    Define Logical architectures to support the allocation of feature/functions.

    Analyse and define physical architecture and interfaces.

    Define component level requirements for stakeholders.

    Support the system level fault response and reconfiguration activities.

    Support reliability and safety analysis.

    Use requirements management tools for capturing and generating specification documents.

    Interface between software and hardware engineers to support system design.

    Perform or support the development of test plans and test cases.

    Work closely with suppliers to ensure that requirements, timescales, and costs targets are achieved.

    Perform or support verification and validation activities and feedback of results into the system design.

    Support the governance of requirements management processes, toolchain, and model ontology.

    The Candidate

    Degree qualified or similar in engineering.

    Relevant experience of systems design and electrical/electronic engineering.

    Familiar with delivering projects to APQP requirements.

    Experience of model-based requirements engineering.

    Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives.

    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
