    Project Manager (Insurance)

    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the area of decommissioning.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects involving the decommissioning of datacenters, including overseeing the relocation of systems and infrastructure to new environments.

    This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of datacenter operations within the insurance sector.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage projects related to the decommissioning of datacenters within the insurance industry, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within budget, and according to project objectives.

    Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies for the decommissioning process.

    Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior management, to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.

    Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to facilitate the decommissioning process, including the relocation of systems, data, and infrastructure to alternative locations.

    Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
    Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

    Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and project team members, providing regular reports and presentations as needed.

    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to datacenter decommissioning and project management processes.

    Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to evaluate project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and capture best practices for future projects.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred.
    Minimum of (X) years of experience in project management, with a focus on decommissioning projects within the insurance industry.
    Proven track record of successfully managing datacenter decommissioning projects, including experience overseeing the relocation of systems and infrastructure.
    Strong technical background in datacenter operations, infrastructure architecture, and systems integration, with knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in developing and executing project plans, managing project budgets, and mitigating risks.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
