Our client is a global market leader in the manufacturing of cartons, leaflets and labels for the pharma and health industries, with staffing at the heart of their ongoing growth and success.

Currently our client is looking to recruit a Divisional Cost Accountant to join their already talented team.

The Role

Responsibilities

Managing the accounting records for all Divisional central entities, including:
Management of accounts payable, banking, VAT accounting, payroll, expenses, credit card management, intercompany recharge and general ledger processes
Maintenance of high financial control standards and monthly control file records
Translation of local General Ledger information into weekly, monthly and quarterly Group reporting submissions, checking the integrity and validity of uploaded information in Group Reporting systems
Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts, transfer pricing calculations and corporation income tax returns for Divisional central entities
Maintenance of existing General Ledger and supporting finance systems and any future system migrations
Preparation of any tax analysis for Tax department
Ad hoc support providing financial information and analysis to Divisional management

Skills and Experience

Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively within finance, across functions and globally.
Flexible and motivated team player who manages and meets deadlines, and contributes towards the collective achievement of team objectives.
Strong analytical ability and attention for detail.
Work experience in a financial or accounting environment
Strong ability to manage and process confidential data in the correct manner
