Description
Job Description
As the HVAC Engineer you will provide HVAC knowledge and building services engineering maintenance to a client property(s). This will include HVAC System, Chillers, CRAC Units and plan and deliver PPM maintenance unrestricted to be bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and potential installation on the client site(s).
Key Responsibilities
•Surveying sites where HVAC systems are installed inline with SFG20.
•Drafting HVAC installation plans and technical diagrams if required.
•Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing all HVAC Systems in a commercial/Industrial environment, in various production and office spaces and buildings.
•Ensuring that HVAC systems adhere to the national safety standards and regulations and in line with SFG20.
•Supervising ongoing HVAC Maintenance system remedial works and repairs, installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.
•Using blueprints, drawing of systems and manufacturer's installation manuals to help support the completion of projects.
•Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job.
•Identifying HVAC problems and repairing them.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
•In country Qualified HVAC (NVQ 3 Refrigeration systems or Citing Guilds equivalent, technicians 237 parts 1 & 2).
•In-country Licensed F-Gas.
•Significant experience in providing HVAC building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation.
•Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
•Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties.
•Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements.
•Evidence Training and competence in managing pressure systems and HVAC tasks.
