    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Payments Officer on-site in Mayfair, London to join our busy Payments team.

    Hours – 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Mon to Thurs, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm FriDutiesRespond promptly to emails from various stakeholders, including front office personnel, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

    Efficiently obtain and manage Global Payments Innovation (GPI) trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of payment transactions.

    Inquiry HandlingIdentify and escalate complex issues or queries to the Deputy Head of Payments for resolution, ensuring a timely and effective response to critical matters.

    Field incoming callsMaintain accurate and organised records of email correspondence, GPI trackers, and other relevant documentation to support the payments team.

    Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
    Liaise with other departments as necessary to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
    Ensure compliance with established procedures and guidelines in all aspects of email management, inquiry handling, and issue resolution.

    Actively contribute to the identification of process improvements, suggesting enhancements to streamline email responses, inquiry handling, and overall team efficiency.


    Adaptable Support:

    Provide flexible support to the payments team as needed, participating in additional tasks or projects that contribute to the overall success of the team and the organisation.
