    As an Inside Sales Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to lead this charge, not only applying your exceptional sales skills to sell but also building and innovating processes for scalable customer acquisition.

    Key job responsibilities


    • Lead the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan to attract customers at scale, driving Amazon Freight's growth in Europe.
    • Build, mentor, and manage an inside sales team capable of achieving ambitious sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
    • Innovate and optimize sales processes and strategies to improve overall sales productivity and efficiency.
    • Foster a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team, encouraging innovative approaches to customer acquisition and engagement.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.
    • Act as a customer advocate, identifying customer needs and working with internal teams to guide product and service enhancements.
    • Own and manage sales forecasts and performance, ensuring transparency and effective communication within the Amazon Freight leadership team.
    A day in the life

    As the Inside Sales Manager, your day starts with a strategic review of sales targets and performance metrics, followed by coaching sessions with your team to refine pitches and share insights on customer acquisition tactics.

    You'll engage in collaborative discussions with product and marketing teams to align sales strategies with broader business goals.

    Your innovative mindset leads you to explore new processes for enhancing sales productivity, followed by hands-on work with your team to implement these strategies effectively.

    About the team
    You'll be joining Amazon Freight Commercial Organization, part of overall Amazon Freight and Amazon Transportation Services in Europe. This new role within the Amazon Freight ecosystem underscores our commitment to customer-centric solutions and sales excellence.

    As part of this team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of logistics for businesses across the continent, leveraging Amazon's culture of innovation and customer obsession.

    London, GBR

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    A degree
    Experience in a Commercial Lead role
    Prior work experience in leading commercial (sales/ business development/ account management/ vendor management) teams
    Ability to communicate across all levels of management
    Excellent verbal and written skills in English (other European languages are a plus)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
    Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to operate in a fluid, ambiguous environment
    Master or MBA from a reputed business school
    Prior experience working in transportation/ freight/ logistics/ supply-chain industry
    Fluency in French, Italian or Spanish
