    Position at Resolver The Role:To be responsible for the governance, oversight and management of the Resolver Ontology, designing an appropriate data architecture; implementing tooling for the effective management and monitoring of the ontology, and setting up robust data management processes. Enabling the business to get the most value from its data by:
  • Designing the Resolver ontology to support effective product design and implementation.
  • Ensuring appropriate tooling is built to manage the ontology and assure that relevant quality standards are met.
  • Designing and implementing robust processes with Product, Human Delivery and Data to ensure that the ontology delivers value across the organisation.
  • Directly Responsible Individual:The role of the Head of Ontology is to provide expert advice to Resolver on designing, architecting, building, embedding and managing the ontology to drive value across the business. You will be responsible for:
  • Designing the Resolver ontology across all domains, with Product at its core.
  • Setting out a data architecture to implement the ontology into the Resolver (Crisp) platform.
  • Setting requirements for tooling to be built in the Resolver (Crisp) platform for managing the ontology.
  • Managing the transition from existing systems for the ontology to the Resolver (Crisp) platform.
  • Managing vendors that supply tooling for managing the ontology and data.
  • Implementing processes to set and assure the quality of the ontology itself and data flows that are making use of the ontology.
  • Managing stakeholders across the businesses.
  • You will partner with Product, Engineering and Human Delivery to ensure the design, architecture, implementation and processes all meet requisite standardResponsibilities:
  • Design the architecture for the Resolver ontology
  • Design processes for managing new and existing entries in the oncology
  • Proactively identify external data sources to contribute to ontology
  • Implement appropriately designed tooling in the Resolver (Crisp) platform for the management of the ontology
  • Implement quality standards for the ontology and relevant data flows
  • Monitor quality of the ontology and data flowing through it.
  • Success measures:
  • Breadth of data domains covered by the ontology
  • Successful transition of ontology from existing tooling to the platform
  • Agreed implementation of ontology across Resolver core products
  • Quality standards for ontology accuracy in excess of 80%
  • Clear implementation of a programme of work improving data quality, with data quality levels agreed with product leads.
  • Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree (or equivalent) or similar qualification in relevant field
  • Experience in delivering excellent Ontology management products and services
  • Essential skills and competencies
  • Flexible work hours; ability to work in alignment with business needs
  • Fast-paced, relies heavily on communication
  • Required to work in teams as well as independently
