Here at EW Recruitment Services, we are working alongside a well established fabrication company in the Newton Aycliffe area who seeking dedicated and proficient Plater/Welders to join their team due to growth


Responsibilities:
Perform welding and plating tasks on structural steel components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Set up welding equipment and select appropriate techniques. Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and objectives. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and industry regulations.


Requirements:
Proven experience as a Structural Steel Welder or similar role. Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of different types of metals and their welding characteristics. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be expected to undertake a weld test if successful for an interview This is a permanent day shift position working Monday to Friday
