Reed Procurement are proud to represent a highly successful global Engineering business to appoint a Resource Manager to their site in Middlesbrough.

Some of the duties in this role include:

  • Act as a role model for Health, Safety and Environmental issues, actively participating and encouraging team and peers to support the development of safety culture and behaviours
  • Proactively develop manpower pools to ensure sufficient capacity to support project requirements using direct hire and approved manpower providers
  • Maintain and develop manpower resourcing database to include necessary documentation requirements (including training needs/certifications), rate management, and update business management system in line with business activities
  • Lead country compliance reviews to ensure that manpower resources allocated to projects comply with employment and tax laws in countries where the work is executed
  • Ensure clear requirements are communicated and updated for manpower resourcing of projects
  • Actively participate in preorder and handover meetings, ensuring all critical information is clearly identified, recorded, and distributed within own team for timely deliver
  • Work with Project Planning and Project Managers in the production of project plans and manpower resourcing requirements
  • Provide cost implications to Project Managers arising from customer changes of schedules/start dates and end dates
  • Overall management of manpower resource logistics to include travel and accommodation, using appropriate vendor support as required
  • Ensure communication of assigned manpower requirements with Project Managers, including resourcing scheduling status and supporting documentation

The requirement of this role include:

  • 3 years + experience in project-related manpower resourcing and knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Knowledge of personnelrelated certifications such as ISO14001 ISO9001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, VCA-SCC, ValtiN1/N2 etc
  • Familiarity with workforce compliance regulations across Europe and UK is essential
  • A strong results focus, with high attention to detail
