About The Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cardiff's Independent Living Service (ILS) Team.

The Service works in partnership with vulnerable adults to support them to live independently at home and connected to their communities, through tailored information, advice and assistance - enabling people to take control of their own lives.

The Independent Living and Well-being team are key to providing assistance to vulnerable adults in meeting their well-being goals

About the job

To post will entail the oversight and operational day-to-day management of the First Point of Contact Community Team and for the supervision of the Independent Living Service Training Officer.

The post holder will be primarily responsible for leading, developing, supporting and communicating with the staff group and will work closely with the Independent Living Support Service manager in the continuing development of service provision.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will need to be an extremely motivated individual with a passion for promoting independence through a strength based approach, as well as an excellent communicator with the ability to listen, act and inform.
