Are you keen to lead on projects that make a difference to residents in an exciting and diverse London Borough? If so, this could be the job for you
We're looking for a qualified, confident planner with a strong background in Strategic Planning, who can lead on projects, manage teams and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You must have a relevant post graduate qualification in Town Planning (or equivalent), which supports membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute and experience of managing or mentoring staff.
You may be looking for your next career move and a promotion into a more senior role, or a senior officer wanting greater responsibility and an opportunity to take the lead on some of the exciting projects coming forward across the Borough.
You will have the ability to lead on the development of planning and design guidance, oversee the preparation of robust strategic policies and advise on emerging regeneration programmes.
We go where the evidence takes us in Hackney and maintaining an up to date evidence base for emerging plans is a key aspect of supporting our communities and reflecting the wider corporate objectives of the Council.
