Expro are currently recruiting for a the 2024 Modern Apprenticeship Scheme in our Dyce and Altens workshops.

Expro work in partnership with our nominated college to support our apprentices to follow the SEMTA (Science Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Alliance) Modern Apprenticeship framework to gain not only a Modern Apprentice certificate, but also continue further education to least an HNC level in an Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering discipline.

Over a 4-year period our Apprentices will attend college part-time, with the remainder of the time spent within their designated Expro workshop, which could be located in Dyce or Altens.

During the first 3 years, our Apprentices are expected to gain an NC and SVQ Level 3 vocational award, followed by completing further education to gain an HNC qualification in by the end of year 4.

Expro will fully support our Apprentices not only in gaining the formal qualifications but also receiving valuable hands-on training in the workshops.

There may also be an opportunity to continue to further education and gain Expro-sponsored HND.

To be considered for an Apprenticeship with Expro we would require the following

National 5 grade or expected grades of A/B in Maths is essential
Interest/participation in a technical/mechanical extracurricular activity is preferred
Must have good communication skills
