- Handling a varied caseload on Criminal Litigation matters on behalf of the Council
- Advising in respect of selective and additional licensing schemes and enforcement work
- Conducting advocacy as required in relation to cases involving trading standards, environmental health and licensing matters
- Handling criminal litigation and government prosecutions
- Background within Local Government
- 37 hours per week

Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Criminal Litigation Lawyer on a locum basis, for 3-months initially with potential extension.
Candidates will be required to handle attended hearings, in Courts across the West Midlands.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and is offering an hourly rate of circa £50 PAYE.
