    Who we are looking for

    A Project Manager, who will drive our continued commitment to improving our customer's experience.

    As part of our continued growth, we're thrilled to announce the addition of a new Project Manager position within our user platform team.

    As our Company continues to prioritise user experience and engagement, this role takes centre stage in ensuring our platform meets and exceeds user expectations.

    You will be delivering technology projects of various sizes and complexity, including initiatives to enhance our customer functionality, running proof of concepts for new technologies and refreshing or replacing existing platforms and services.

    This role is eligible for in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

    skills and experience

    • Strong experience of managing software development lifecycle deliveries, in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
    • Familiarity in dealing directly with technical functions including architecture, database, network and security, infrastructure platforms, IT operations, software development and test and release management.
    • Broad knowledge of project management terminology, tools and techniques.
    • Pragmatic delivery approach with the ability to consider the most effective and efficient way to plan and release solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide messages that are clearly understood by adopting a range of styles, tools and techniques. This will be appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information, which will help to influence and manage a range of relationships.
    • Ability to translate technical project requirements into business friendly .
    • Understanding and experience of a variety of test approaches both functional and non-functional.
    • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work cooperatively with others, as part of a team.
    • Ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects, into components to explore and evaluate them systematically.
    • Adaptability to work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups, whilst understanding and appreciating different and opposing perspectives.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Taking full ownership of running concurrent projects, ensuring they are resourced, planned and controlled correctly. Using the tools necessary to manage scope, time, risk and quality.
    • Working with Business and IT stakeholders to define scope and solutions of projects, whilst resolving issues as necessary.
    • Ensuring relevant project stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
    • Working directly with appointed technical leads and project team members to provide support and direction as required, whilst contributing towards overall project objectives.
    • Managing priority changes in an effective and controlled manner.
    • Following delivery of projects, providing lessons learned and activity based actions to improve the department's delivery capabilities.
