    Description

    A new opportunity has arisen for a Compliance System Auditor to join us at Cranswick at our Wembley site.

    The main purpose of the role is to working as part of a team responsible for food safety, quality, legality and integrity of food products manufactured on site. In addition, you will be responsible for site Internal audits across both sites as per schedules.

    Main duties include (but not limited to):

    · Conduct Internal audits to ensure all KB sites continue to comply with Cranswick Manufacturing standard, 3rd party standard and customer (retailer standards) requirements.

    · Conducting various Traceability Audits.

    · Liaise with sub contracted Vet services and carry out monthly Vet trace to as per regulatory requirements.

    · Communicating the audit findings via written report and presenting where required.

    · Identifying areas of non-conformity during audit and raising NC's to the relevant department.

    · Support in investigating factory non-compliance where required to identify root cause of the issue for effective closure.

    · Look at improved ways of working while reviewing current process/ procedure on the factory floor whilst carrying out audits.

    · Support technical team on external audits and customer visits.

    · Support TSM in maintaining compliance schedule.

    · Working with Quality Systems co-ordinator on customer complaints investigation where required.

    Food Safety and Hygiene:

    Comply with the company food safety and hygiene policies and procedures at ALL times.

    Requirements, experience and person specification:

    · Strong technical/ QA background and auditing skill & Experience within the food industry.

    · Internal auditing training preferred but not essential.

    · Food safety Level 2 trained

    · Understanding of HACCP ( Level 2 and above)

    · Good understanding of English, both written and verbal.

    · Excellent report writing skill.

    · Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)

    · Able to communicate effectively with management and colleagues within a multicultural workforce

    · Good numerical, organisational and record keeping skills

    · Able to work quickly and methodically and maintain a high level of attention to details.

    · Able to follow instruction and show initiative where needed

    · Quick Learner and mechanically minded.
