About Our Client:

Our client is an SME Marketing Agency based in Central Reading.

This role will be fairly standalone working closely with the UK office to support each department with their needs while also updating procedures within the company.

This role allows for a high level of WFH flexibility and involvement across the comprehensive HR functions as well as our say on the future within the company.

The HR Generalist (Hybrid Working) will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the UK office (sub 20 staff) with their HR needs including employee data, employee queries, talent acquisition, rewards and benefits, any employee relations duties that may arise, employee queries etc.
  • Review current policies and implement improvements to procedures to standardise HR processes across the organisation
  • Resolves enquiries regarding HR programs, policies, resources and procedures
  • Identifies escalation trends and opportunities for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Prepares other employment letters ie. Job change, employment verification, transfers, offboarding
  • Answers general employment questions and maintains HR operations mailboxes
  • Responsible for maintaining digital file storage
  • HRIS system support
  • Coordinates and facilitates orientation for new hires and ensures compliance with all work authorisation documents including right to work and background screening, and ensures follow up on reverification requirements
  • Handling recruitment processes from role release through to onboarding
  • Rewards and benefits administration

The Successful Applicant:

The ideal HR Generalist (Hybrid Working) will have the following skills/qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within HR Generalist duties including advisory on employee relations
  • Discrete, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and diplomacy
  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to workload in a busy environment, with the ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Immediately Available/Available on short notice
