    Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Waterproofing

    Area to be covered: Midlands

    Remuneration: up to £50,000 + £5,000 bonus

    Benefits: hybrid company car OR circa £5,500 car allowance & comprehensive benefits packages

    The role of the Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Waterproofing will involve:

    ·Specification sales position selling a range of liquid applied roofing and waterproofing systems for application such as roofs, walkways, balconies, car parks, roads and infrastructure

    ·Working on both new build and refurbishment projects

    ·The majority of your time will be spent dealing with specialist quality waterproofing & roofing sub-contractors, main contractors and roofing installers

    ·The remaining portion of your time will be spent gaining specifications with predominantly building surveyors, local authorities, consultants, architects, health authorities and end users

    ·Majority of your time will be spent managing circa 40-50 existing accounts

    ·Inheriting a territory currently turning over circa £900k

    ·Typical projects include hotels, schools, healthcare, education, stadiums, facilities, retail

    The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Waterproofing with:

    ·Ideally construction field sales experience

    ·Open in terms of what you've sold (ideally from a roofing or waterproofing background however not essential)

    ·Would consider someone working for a contractor or within a distributors / merchant

    ·Would consider internal sales

    ·Ideally some experience with contractors, building surveyors, surveyors, architects, consultants and specifiers

    ·Ideally have construction site experience

    ·Ability to hunt for new projects whilst also building and retaining relationships along the way
