- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- NVQ3/BTEC in Pharmacy Services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT)
- NHS Leadership underpinning knowledge CPPE Leading for Change, Edward Jenner, Mary Seacole or equivalent
- Educational Supervisor, Practice Supervisor, Internal Verifier, NVQ assessor qualification or equivalent.
- Experience as a band 5 pharmacy technician in a UK hospital
- Experience co-ordinating/leading an acute NHS hospital pharmacy team
- Experience of training and supervision of others

Band 6 Deputy Lead Pharmacy Technician - Homecare Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Pharmacy technician with a vision to join our Pharmacy Homecare Team as Deputy Lead Technician. This new role will support the improvement and development of Homecare Medicines Services across the Trust.
You should be a pharmacy technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and have current experience working as band 5 or above. Evidence of multi-disciplinary teamwork is beneficial as is the experience of change management, service development, and management of teams. Main duties of the job
To support the Pharmacy Homecare Manager in managing the Pharmacy Homecare Team including staff management, recruitment, selection, training and development of all grades of staff working within the Pharmacy Homecare Team.
To support the Pharmacy Homecare Manager in the operational management of Pharmacy Homecare Services including the development of systems for service provision in line with departmental and Trust strategic objectives.
