About the role
The position will sit within our Group Supply Chain team, based at our Head Office site in Wollaston.

The Group Demand Planner will provide the business with a consistent, reliable and informed base forecast, in addition to working with the commercial team to capture risks and opportunities for the unconstrained forecast.

This will then be presented to the business through the S&OP process, identifying both risks and opportunities, providing guidance and accepting feedback.


Key responsibilities


All duties are to be carried out at all times in compliance with all Corporate EHS, SOX and business conduct policies and guidelines.


Accountable for the forecast accuracy; to deliver the best possible accuracy in the Demand Plan taking insights from sales, product management, trend analysis, history and market trends and seek to consistently drive initiatives to improve the Forecast Accuracy KPI across the business.


Responsible for the production, distribution, and development of the Forecast Accuracy KPI reporting, ensuring data is accurate and fit for purpose and can be used across teams to drive improvement, actions, and ultimately improve customer service.


Work with sales teams and Customer service teams to manage exceptions to the orderbook/forecast where it does not align to supply or demand in the short term (allocations).

Drive the business toward a 24-month rolling forecast which will form the basis of the annual budget process.


As the business process owner for the demand planning processes provide proactive advice on improvement potential and opportunities for the business ERP system.

Work across teams to manage the adjustment of the demand plan from an unconstrained to constrained view.


Be the connection between local Supply chain teams and Global product managers and commercial colleagues to ensure demand plan conformity.

Ensure product lifecycle management is carried out and that all demand forecasts reflect accordingly.


Be the demand planning representative across all S&OP cycles, local or Global, demonstrating ownership of the data, whilst providing insight and initiatives for continuous improvement.


About you
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, as to interpret complex data and supply routes. Confident in building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.


Salary & benefits:
The salary for the position will be in the range of £40, £45,000.00 dependent upon experience.

In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus).
